What makes Absolute Deliveries special? I will tell you.

I have only been here 3 weeks so far and i can say i am really enjoying it, not only are the people i work with lovely, knowledgeable but they are Husband and Wife.  

Did you know that today there are around 4.7 million family owned businesses and around 97% of those are small firms. These small firms employ around 12 million people and generate around £460 billion to the UK GDP. These businesses are an essential component of the British society.  

A smaller, family run business offers a more personal unique experience and i can honestly tell you that here at Absolute Deliveries Paul & Sue will endeavour that the customer is always put first and they will always prevent failure, whether that be answering the phone at 3am or jumping in there car to make sure everything runs smoothly. Paul and Sue value the customers they have and i never hear them say 'no' to a customer they will always meet customer requirements. 

They have succeeded in establishing that great relationship, as the customers always come back.

Roadside Testing - Drug Driving

                                                                                                                               

Drug Driving Roadside Testing 

2015 - The year England and Wales introduced drug-driving limits and roadside testing. In the first year alone 8,000 people were arrested for drug driving and 98% of those arrested were convicted. There was an 800 per cent increase of arrests from the previous year. In just 1 month of roadside drug testing there were 1,888 tests conducted and a staggering 50% were tested positive, in which 80 % of those were for Cannabis.

When the law was introduced in England and Wales two years ago there were low limits set for eight illegal drugs, Cannabis and Cocaine included and the higher levers for eight prescription drugs, including Morphine and Methadone.

Welcome to our new team member!

This week we welcomed Kirsty Allsopp to the team as our Business Development Manager. She will help continue our excellent services that we provide to our existing customers and to help excel our business and welcome new customers. We here at Absolute Deliveries have had a great week showing Kirsty our in house systems and processes to help her to settle in. She has spoken with existing clients and she has met the majority of our team of drivers. We can not wait to see how Kirsty progresses and we wish her a very happy and successful future here with us at Absolute Deliveries!

Unfortunately we had to miss the CV show this week however it has been great to see all the pictures and updates from the week.

We would like to wish you all a great bank holiday weekend.

We received a lovely email from a lovely customer and had to share .....

" Just a quick note to thank your team for the assistance they gave manoeuvring trucks and generally helping us out for the photo-shoot at Ford & Slater Coventry yesterday.

We're Moving Ourselves Now
