Doing things Absolutely right

It's been 7 months since we started the business,having both been made redundant at the same time.
In that 7 months we have achieved so much with our customer's help and support.
We're committed to doing things Absolutely right - an important value for us - and to demonstrate this, we have already;

• Achieved ISO9001 within 9 weeks
• Developed highest possible standard for our staff
• Sue attended an HMRC training course to ensure the finances were in Apple Pie order from day one
• Had approval of our Health & Safety and Risk Assessment documents
• Carried out customer surveys online - and these showed us that we were getting things right.

At the same time, Sue has continued her voluntary work as a Trustee of Birmingham Childrens Hospital Charities and with her fundraising team,generated £1.5 million for the Kidney Kids Appeal.

Paul was recognised for his commitment to local Charities and the Round Table by being nominated as an Honorary President.

Glorious summer weather?

Well, last week were needed our shades on for driving in that glorious sunshine.
This morning it was the spray from all the rain causing the visibility issues.

We know that we should expect nothing less from UK weather - but we prefer the sunshine 'problem' - bring back the summer!!

Following our assessment we have been told that we passed with flying colours and will be recommended for accreditation..very excited about that indeed!!

what a difference an hour can make....

Monday looked like being a quiet one - not looking good at all.
However, within an hour of being in the office, the phone was ringing off the hook!!
Everyone must be back at work after the Easter break...
All drivers now out and about serving our customers - ABSOLUTEly fantastic!!

An Easter Thank You

We wanted to thank our customers for their support so far - and an Easter Egg seemed the perfect way - We wish them all an Absolute Easter.



We have had a few new customers since the Easter Bunny made his Deliveries - and their thank you will be on the list for next time!

Green Shoots are to be seen - hopefully!

The nights are getting lighter - and the sun isn't quite such a rare sight - so Spring MUST be on it's way.

Let's hope that the green shoots that have been spotted are green shoots in business terms as well!
We are currentlyexperiencing the mid-month calm - so have some capacity if we get a sudden rush - but generally we are building up a lovely customer base - and thank them all for their support.

New Registration

The new registration came into play on March 1st - so nice, new trucks are on the road...have you taken delivery of one?.....

Nationwide delivery in every sense

Last Friday we had the workforce at opposite ends of the country...
one driver went to Scotland and we sent another to Devon.

Perhaps this week we will be sending them east & west?

After a visit and interview with the DVLA - we are now the proud owners of our trade plates...
so it won't be long before we are able to carry out all your vehicle movements.
