Recently, when en route to California a truck overturned, while carrying 20 million bees [worth £72,000]. The driver and his wife were badly stung as the angry bees swarmed.
The bees were to have pollinated almond trees - but sadly the entire load was lost.

Elaine & Neil did a fantastic job looking after the Company for us, while we had a few days away - many thanks to them.
Of course we missed you....I had to stop Paul from planning the logistics for moving the sunbeds!!! But we had a great time - and our batteries are fully re-charged and we are raring to get back to work [honest]

It has been revealed that HGV drivers have the best knowledge of the Highway Code;
A recent survey showed that 77% of the HGV drivers correctly identified all 20 road signs -compared to 63% of car drivers, 59% van drivers and 42% of cyclists.
The survey also revealed that HGV drivers were seen as the most courteous on the road... with 44% frequently giving way to other motorists [compared to 37% of car drivers]. Does our team fit both those bills nicely?..ABSOLUTELY!!

Truck & van registrations continued their upward trend in August - rising 23% & 27% respectively -that's acording to the latest data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
I hope that means extra work coming our way...all those new trucks and vans will need delivering!!

Motorway lighting is to be permanently switched off on sections of the M1 to reduce carbon emissions -saving 810 tonnes of carbon.
The Highways Agency plans to switch off and remove lighting between junctions 10 (Luton) and 13 (Milton Keynes), from 17th August and via phased removal concluding autumn 2012,

Sunshine sMILES
At last we have some real sunshine [not sure for how long though?] - and it's good to be out on the road.
With holiday traffic, the roads aren't much quieter - but we don't mind that really - it is just good to be busy

It has been a bit of a roller-coaster at times - but on the whole we have enjoyed every minute.
We have built up a lovely customer portfolio - and we have a great team of drivers that we couldn't manage without.
